Our client, located in the Johnson County area is seeking a Mortgage ComplianceSpecialist for a contract to hire opportunity Qualified candidates must have the following experience:
Our established mortgage client is seeking a Mortgage Quality Control Specialist.
Ensure compliance with existing, new and revised laws and regulations in a timely manner; tracking, monitoring, analyzing, and implementing regulatory changes that impact Mortgage core business and operations.
Determine the compliance of policies, procedures, and products through self-assessments conducted by the Mortgage and Compliance Department and checklists completed by departmental management/staff.
Verify that recommended corrective actions discussed in self-assessment, audit, and quality control reports are implemented and monitored for continued compliance.
Provide compliance support to lending staff.
Job Requirements
3-5 years in the mortgage industry, specifically in drawling loan documents and funding.
Knowledge of all federal and state regulations regarding lending.
Demonstrates excellent internal/external customer service skills.
Strong communication, interpersonal and organization skills.
